13 A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.
The Faithful Conceal a Matter
How can you tell if someone is faithful? Well, based on the Bible, it says that “he who is of a faithful spirit”, “conceals a matter”.
This means a faithful person knows how to conceal a matter or keep secrets.
On the flip side, in the same verse, it says that one who reveals secrets is a “talebearer”.
So, before pouring out your heart to strangers, test the spirit first to see if they are worthy of your trust and vulnerability. Don’t give those away so liberally. Jesus should have first priority to your trust and vulnerability first, then He will lead you to the right friends, amen!
